More information

Community Networks Aotearoa’s Tick for Governance is a compact, online governance training course aimed at small organisations governing bodies.

10 Modules lead them through what they are legally required to know and do as a committee, board, or trust. Each module is around about an hour in length and, as its online, they do it when they can, even around appointments. 10 mins here, 20 mins there – it all adds up.

Your board/committee will cover - management vs governance; understanding the financials; policies; the up-to-date legals; and how to have short effective meetings. All in easy, plain English with road-tested resources to download and adapt.

They’ll also get a NZQA approved micro credential – great for funding applications.

If they are ‘old hands’ - they’ll whizz through it and learn about the latest legislation; if they’re new – it’s a great way to relieve the anxiety of heading into a meeting by giving them a great idea of what to expect.

In this webinar Patrick will outline the course modules, show some of the course content, and answer all the FAQs you have.
