More information

This plain language workshop will cut through the legal-speak and technical jargon and help you to understand and comply with the essential elements of many of the rules and regulations that are applicable to the ECE sector.

The workshop’s clear, concise and practical format will cover the ECE Legislative Framework, which includes:

  • Education and Training Act 2020
  • Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008
  • Licensing Criteria for Early Childhood Education and Care Centres 2008
  • The fourth tier of rules that sit outside the regulatory framework, in the form of ‘guidance’ from the Ministry of Education

Many further changes are expected in the regulatory space – Sue will also provide an update on what we do know and what we might be able to expect in relation to regulatory changes.

Facilitator: Sue Kurtovich

This workshop will be recorded and sent out to all registrants.
