More information

From 26 February 2024, the clarifications on the duties of person responsible came into effect, as well as a number of additional requirements, for example that persons responsible in teacher-led centre-based services must hold an accredited first-aid qualification.

Since then, the Associate Minister of Education, Hon David Seymour, has announced that the Government intends to make changes to early learning legislation and regulations.

This webinar is critical, need-to-know, information for all. The February 2024 regulatory changes are not being repealed.

During ECC’s analysis of the Persons Responsible regulation changes very important compliance risks have also been identified in relation to the 50% qualification requirement – also critical, need-to-know, information we will cover.

In the webinar we will discuss the

  • Nomination process,
  • Additional Duties of Person Responsible,
  • Requirements, measure and compliance,
  • Minimum numbers required

All registrants will receive an ECC Advisory, developed to provide a clear overview of the different aspects of the role of person responsible.

This webinar will be convened by Simon Laube, ECC Chief Executive.
