About the 2026 Early Childhood Council Conference
The Early Childhood Council conference is New Zealand's premier gathering of ECE professionals. As the largest of its kind in the country, we bring together passionate leaders, teachers and experts from across the sector.
The early childhood sector is an increasingly complex and challenging landscape where each choice we make shapes the future for ourselves, our centres and the tamariki we serve. Every centre wants to succeed – but how do you make that happen?
This two day conference in Wellington was designed to make success both actionable and achievable. We invited ECE centre owners, managers, and teachers to find their power, embrace challenges as opportunities, and make intentional choices that lead to lasting growth. Through inspiring keynotes, practical workshops, and opportunities to connect, they gained the tools and confidence to turn aspiration into real sustainable success.

Is this a catered event?
Yes, the ECC Conference is fully catered, providing you with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea on both days. There will be water, coffee and tea available. The venue can cater to most dietary requirements.
When do standard registrations end?
Standard registrations end at midnight on Friday 17 July 2026. Make sure you book in early to avoid paying last minute prices.
