Eligibility and Membership Types

ECC membership is available to all independently-owned early learning centres classified as 'Education and Care' by the Ministry of Education. All centres under common ownership are required to join as a single member.
Full membership is for education and care services that are already licensed. Annual subscription fees are calculated on the total number of licensed places across all commonly owned centres; members are responsible for ensuring their information remains up to date.
Provisional membership is for education and care services that are in the process of obtaining a licence to operate and lasts for up to two years. The annual subscription fee is $450; provisional members must move to full membership when their licence is granted.
The ECC membership subscription year runs 1 April to 31 March; members who join later in the year will be pro-rated.
